Legal Plan and its affiliates (referred to herein as “Legal Plan,” “LP,” “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to complying with this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”), which describes what information we collect about you, how we use it, with whom we may share it, what choices you have regarding our use of your information, and how to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about our Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected on our website located at legalplan.com (the “Website”), any webpage that LP maintains that links to this Privacy Policy, any current or future mobile applications associated with LP or the Website, and other online or wireless offerings that post a link to the Privacy Policy or otherwise provided to, or collected by, us in connection with the services we provide (collectively, “Online Services”).
Personally Identifiable Information (“PII” or “Personal Information”) is information that, either alone or in combination with other information, identifies you. Examples of PII include, among others, name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. PII also includes certain information we collect when you subscribe to our services. This information can include your Social Security number and financial account numbers.

Further, where expressly designated by LP, some portions of the Online Services may be used by active LP clients to communicate pursuant to a service relationship. You may choose whether or not to provide such information; however, the information may be required to respond to your request.
We and our third-party providers may use cookies and other technologies such as log files, tracking pixels, and analytic tools and services to collect information (including PII) automatically from you while you use or interact with the Website or other platforms in connection with our Online Services. Such information includes your IP address, location information, the type of web browser and operating system you use, browsing activities, usage information, and any other information your web browsing software or Internet Service Provider automatically provides to our Online Services.

How we use cookies

We use Google Analytics, version GA4, for internal site analytics, such as tracking incoming web traffic, sources, URLs, conversions, types of devices, and other similar information. If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, you can let us know by sending an email to info@legalplan.com or by mail at the address provided below in the “Contact Us” section. The electronic marketing communications we send may also contain an opt-out mechanism. Please note that it may take up to 10 calendar days to remove your contact information from our marketing communications lists, so you may receive correspondence from us for a short time after you make your request. LP takes commercially reasonable measures to secure and protect the Personal Information we collect. Nevertheless, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your PII. Moreover, we are not responsible for the security of information you transmit to us over networks that we do not control, including the Internet and wireless networks.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites or social media features that may be accessed through links that we provide for your convenience and information. Accessing those links will cause you to leave LP’s website and may result in the collection of information about you by a third party. We do not control, endorse, or make any representations about those third-party websites or their privacy practices, which may differ from ours. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you interact with before allowing the collection and use of your information.
We adhere to the standards set out in this Privacy Policy and do not monitor or follow any Do Not Track browser requests.
If you are using our Online Services from outside of the United States of America, please be aware that your Personal Information may be transferred to, stored or processed in the United States, where our servers are located and our central database is operated. The data protection and other laws of the United States might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using any portion of the Online Services, you understand and consent to the transfer of your Personal Information to our facilities in the United States and those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Privacy Policy.
